“Theme Song” is a four-day video program curated by artist and filmmaker Gillian Garcia, featuring moving image works by Mike Kelley and Paul McCarthy, Josiane M.H. Pozi, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and Tohé Commaret.

“The idea for this program grew from my obsession with Fresh Acconci, the 1995 video piece by Mike Kelley and Paul McCarthy. In it, a group of actors re-stage Vito Acconci performances inside a Spanish-style villa. I think what brings together the videos in this program is the way they explore notions of performance, self-presentation, and desire.” – Gillian Garcia
